Altcoins carry a high level of risk due to their high volatility. Their high correlation with Bitcoin makes their performance strongly dependent on Bitcoin's performance. But in recent years, altcoins with strong fundamentals have shown quite good performance compared to Bitcoin in some periods. Due to their high volatility, some investors still prefer to hold bitcoin and stay away from high altcoins risks. BBTC Fund comes here as a solution. It has a much lower risk than altcoins and generates a higher return than Bitcoin. At least 80% of the fund is always bitcoin, and up to 20% of the fund can be invested in altcoins. Using the Volatility Harvesting strategy through the weighting mechanism, the weight of altcoins and Bitcoin is rebalanced weekly in order to dynamically control the risk of the fund in addition to outperform Bitcoin.

B100 Methodology
The assets in the B100 Fund are weighted based on the float-adjusted market value of their average daily transferred tokens but the components of the Underlying Index are varying over time. BGroup uses both indexing and actively managing strategy to meet the Fund’s investment objective. The assets selected are expected to have, in the aggregate, investment and fundamental characteristics. Fundamental characteristics are checked by B-Model, a fundamental analysis model developed by BGroup to analyze the crypto projects thoroughly. In the B100 Fund, the macroeconomics, technical and on-chain parameters are monitored and the overall risk and the optimal level of the fund's crypto exposure are calculated, accordingly.

The BGroup Gold and Crypto Fund is a low-risk Fund and utilizes the volatility harvesting strategy through (a) forming a basket of crypto assets and (b) combining it with gold using weighted-risk contribution as a rebalancing mechanism. By decreasing volatility and risk levels, it aims to yield superior risk-adjusted returns compared to alternative strategies, including holding crypto assets or gold alone.
